Let me know if you are shipping a tester in. I am sometimes at trade shows and
would not be here to receive your tester.
Pack your tester very well. Double box it with cushioning around the tester,
and in between the double boxes. I will use the same packaging to return
your valuable tester to you, so the boxes should be durable.
If you are shipping a Hickok 539 series or Western KS-15750
MAKE SURE the #10-32 thread screw is installed on the back of the tester
case. This screw holds the heavy transformer bracket inside the case and helps
the tester survive shipping. The screw is about 3/4" long and should have a
washer under the head to keep it from pulling through the wood case.
